I have just installed this and it's the first game I have played for ages that challenges my 512Mb Radeon 4870 and i5 build. It's not very smooth at high graphics settings in 1680 x 1050.

With regard to future proofing and buying a new VGA card I would say that DX11 is not something that I crave or feel I need. Grid 2 runs superbly under my current API. There are simply very few games that support DX 10 never mind DX 11 and the very latest FPS game, BFBC2 is a DX9 game and all the better for it. Had I been a bit smarter and seen the writing on the wall I would have bought the best single card VFM solution ever made and bought it at the right price, the Radeon 4870X2. You are looking at £200 for one of these second hand from some muppet with more money than sense that want's to move on to the non-event of DX11.

I feel the need to upgrade my graphics for BFBC2, but I can't seem to find a good value solution.

My Graphics card is the GTS250. Will report back how well it runs after I played with it.
